Teaching Pyramid Observation System for Infant-Toddler (TPITOS) Reliability Workshop prepares participants in the use of the instrument to gather information on Infant-Toddler teacher implementation of the Pyramid Model practices. Participants will learn the process for using the tool, practice completing it with a standard observation and receive feedback about whether they have provided reliable results.
Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Describe TPITOS, a measure for examining the level of support provided by classroom teachers for infant/toddler social-emotional learning;
- Identify and score video examples of teacher behaviors that support the social-emotional development of infants and toddlers and become familiar with our easy-to-use datasheet;
- Define and meet certification standards for carrying out and scoring TPITOS assessments.
- Describe how the TPITOS can be used to measure teacher support of social-emotional
Target Audience
Early Childhood Educators, ECE Directors, PAPBS Network Facilitators, PBIS Core Leadership Team Members, Early Intervention Teachers or Providers.
