To further assist in our instructional efforts, this session will feature tips, tools, and strategies to enhance student engagement. Looking beyond the essentials of student recruitment, together, we will explore ways to foster student interest and develop those key self-regulations skills needed for persistence. Additionally, we will provide tips for working with staff who need support.
Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Identify policies and procedures for supporting students with disabilities in virtual environments, set forth by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and Bureau of Special Education
- Access and describe the educational resources provided by PaTTAN for use in the support of students with disabilities in virtual environments
- Display knowledge of evidence-based strategies and practices for use in the support of students with disabilities in virtual environments
Target Audience
General and Special Education Teachers, School Psychologist, Physical Therapist, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Behavior Specialist, Special Education Administrators, Principals, other administrators.
