Highlights of Building a Multi-Tiered System of Supports for Mathematics

Tiered Intervention

Webinar

Session Dates

Monday March 29, 2021 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM - Webinar

Closed

Even with a strong core mathematics instructional program in place, there will always be students that need additional supports. Teams must make an instructional match to evidence-based practices, when students are determined to have a need for additional support, by using a robust data system. In addition, data collected by monitoring students’ progress helps teams make decisions about altering or exiting students from the intervention. This session will examine how universal screening and diagnostic data can be used to make an instructional match, as well as how to use progress monitoring data to make data-informed decisions about the support students receive.

Objectives:

  • Identify evidence-based practices for intervention
  • Describe instructional matching
