Understanding screening data provides an insight into where to increase efforts. Are those efforts school-wide or grade-wide? Are they class specific or student specific? Are there issues facing particular subgroups of the student population? This session will introduce schools to methods of interpreting universal screening data that will provide insight into how your mathematics instruction is working for all students and subgroups of students at building, grade, teacher and individual levels.

  • Use screening data to determine area of need
  • Determine effectiveness of core instruction for student subgroups
