New Norms for Empowering the Home Environment & Tips for Progress Monitoring
This session will include a discussion on how to engage and empower families in support of students learning in virtual environments, tips and strategies for progress monitoring in hybrid and virtual structures, and updates from BSE and PDE.
Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Identify policies and procedures for supporting students with disabilities in virtual environments, set forth by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and Bureau of Special Education
- Access and describe the educational resources provided by PaTTAN for use in the support of students with disabilities in virtual environments
- Display knowledge of evidence-based strategies and practices for use in the support of students with disabilities in virtual environments
Target Audience
General and Special Education Teachers, School Psychologists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Behavior Specialist, Special Education Administrators, Principals, other administrators.
