SBAP General Session The General Session will be led and presented by DHS. DHS team members will focus on managing your LEA’s SBAP activities through transition. With a single vendor supporting SBAP beginning in fall of 2023, there will be changes to some of the processes you currently have in place. We will also review upcoming updates to the Provider Handbook and provide other important program information and reminders.
Compliance SessionThe Compliance Session will be led and presented by DHS. Compliance is one area that remains constant. DHS team members will review information and documents needed to help LEAs remain compliant within the SBAP.
The SBAP Direct Service ProgramThis session will be led and presented by Sivic Solutions Group (SSG). During this session, SSG will provide an overview of the Direct Service Program. In addition, SSG will cover the claiming process, best practices in service documentation, and program oversight.
The SBAP Random Moment Time Study, Medicaid Administrative Claiming and Cost Reconciliation/Cost Settlement ProcessThis session will be led and presented by Sivic Solutions Group (SSG). During this session, SSG will provide an overview of the SBAP Random Moment Time Study, Medicaid Administrative Claiming, and a review of Cost Settlement requirements.
Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Define and list the information they will be required to provide, how they will provide it, and what the timeline is for completing SBAP requirements.
- Review the Pennsylvania Cost Settlement process that all schools must complete annually.
Target Audience
These sessions are intended for ACCESS coordinators, special education directors and supervisors, business managers, and anyone else involved in SBAP.
