This course provides an overview of the research and big ideas of formative assessment. Participants will be provided with application practices and resources to transfer knowledge and skills learned to their classroom practice.
Participants will be able to:
- Explain the research basis of formative assessment
- List the big ideas of formative assessment
- Create effective questions aligned to content
- Create learning intentions and success criteria aligned a content goal
