The 2020 PaTTAN Literacy Symposium will provide practitioners with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and skills through focused strands and direct collaboration with researchers and school-based implementers of the science of reading. Scarborough’s Reading Rope (2001), will serve as the underlying theoretical framework for all presentations. The International Dyslexia Association’s Knowledge and Practice Standards will be woven throughout each session to bridge research to practice.

The Literacy Symposium is a virtual event consisting of a required keynote and scheduled concurrent sessions on three consecutive days. It is not a self-paced event. You must attend all sessions at their scheduled times. You do not have to attend every day.

To attend the Symposium, participants must enroll in the Symposium course in Schoology.  After June 1st, 2020, registrants will receive instructions to access Schoology and the Symposium.
