This conference showcases how evidence-based practices may be adapted or reimagined to support students with disabilities in virtual learning environments.
Structured as “for teachers, by teachers,” concurrent sessions are presented by practitioners currently using the featured strategies. Each session includes an interactive discussion moderated by PaTTAN consultants specializing in the area of support.
Objectives
Participants will:
- Identify policies and procedures for supporting students with disabilities in virtual environments, set forth by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and Bureau of Special Education
- Access and describe the educational resources provided by PaTTAN for use in the support of students with disabilities in virtual environments
- Display knowledge of evidence-based strategies and practices for use in the support of students with disabilities in virtual environments.
Target Audience
PreK-12 special education teachers, therapists, and service providers supporting students with disabilities.
