Obtaining insurance funding for tablet-based speech-generating devices (SGD) can be daunting. This webinar will guide attendees through the forms, reports, and procedures that must be followed for initial application and appeals. Emphasis will be on the keywords, phrases, and elements in AAC reports that lead to a successful outcome.

  1. Attendees will be able to identify the forms and procedures to be followed when applying for insurance funding of tablet-based speech-generating devices.
  2. Attendees will be able to identify the steps that must be taken if an appeal of rejection is needed.
  3. Attendees will be able to identify the key words, phrases, and elements needed in successful AAC reports.
  4. Attendees will be able to identify resources to aid them in successful AAC report writing.
