This webinar will explore how to enhance students´ understanding of mathematical concepts using vocabulary instruction and the writing process. We will examine the complex nature of the writing process as well as techniques to develop students´ use of strong mathematics vocabulary.
Objectives
Participants will be able to describe the skills required for writing and use methods to teach vocabulary in mathematics.
Target Audience
Special education teachers, General education teachers, Math teachers, Instructional coaches, Math specialists and Reading specialists
