Consultation and support guided by the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) can improve the educational performance of students and directly result in positive outcomes for students with a wide range of behavioral and educational needs. This session will review the role of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in school programs and established standards of practice for ABA.
Objectives:
- Identify the certification requirements for Board Certified Behavior Analysts
- State various benefits of services that can be provided by behavior analysts practicing in school settings
- Describe the basic principles of learning theory and behavior change utilized by behavior analysts

School Administrators; Special Education and general Education Teachers;
School Psychologists; Parents
Individuals attending this workshop must arrive on time and stay the duration of the workshop in order to receive Act 48 Professional Education hours.
