All too often, families walk out of the audiologist’s office with a collection of cables, accessories and manuals and no memory of how to use this equipment. Come and learn what’s currently available and most importantly, resources to help you when you get home. We will discuss specific situations and possible solutions.
Participants will be able to:
- Name 2 types of HAT to hear better on a smartphone, tablet or computer.
- Describe 2 types of HAT to hear better when people are using masks.
- List 2 online resources for troubleshooting equipment.

Special Education Teachers; Teachers who work with students with hearing loss; Teachers who work with students who are Deaf-Blind; General Education Teachers; Supervisors/Administrators; Assistive Technology Specialists; Parents, Guardians, Family Members; Paraprofessionals
