The Early Intervention Preschool Policy Forum is an opportunity for EI leaders to come together to discuss the implementation efforts around PA’s Early Intervention Service Delivery model. Our goal for this event is Appreciating Multiple Perspectives. Participants will be provided with strategies and resources needed for preparing for and beginning implementation of Embedded Instruction.
Objectives
Participants will:
- Connect Adaptive Leadership strategies with the systems changes needed to support their staff as they transition to supporting provision of Early Intervention services through the use of Embedded Instruction.
- Compare and contrast what they know about their local communities with the experiences of several Cohort One and/or Two teams to anticipate strengths and challenges they may discover during implementation.
- Plan explicit next steps that local communities will take to prepare for or continue their journey through significant systems change.
Target Audience
Early Intervention Preschool local program leaders and early childhood education leaders, family leaders and other invited guests.
Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate individuals who have special needs as addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act and who need assistance at this event. Contact: Molly Martz, at 800-360-7282, or
