Overview of Code Jumper
Session Dates
Tuesday December 21, 2021 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM - PaTTAN - EAST
Closed
This event is by invitation only. You must have a registration key in order to register.
This session is designed to be a hands-on learning experience exploring the Code Jumper App and associated Code Jumper Kit. Code Jumper is the only platform that currently supports students' learning and exploration of block coding through tactile experiences. Participants will walk away with the ability to pair their Code Jumper kit with a Windows PC. After completing the pairing, participants will learn how to connect various tactile pods and plugs to input codes within the Code Jumper App. The presenters will walk participants through the functions and features of each pod in a sequential format. Each section of the presentation will increase in complexity and result in challenging the participants to walk away with a coherent code.
Objectives
At the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Identify students who may benefit from coding instruction with Code Jumper.
- Pair the Code Jumper Kit with a Windows PC.

- Identify lesson plans and resources to support the use of Code Jumper.
