This interactive team workshop will identify the Pennsylvania Career Ready Skills (PA CRS) continuum and its relevance in today's school environment and beyond. Strategies for school teams to plan for and integrate these skills into the daily school community will be provided. School-based teams will build action plans based on existing initiatives and school data to implement the PA Career Ready Skills into their schools.

Objectives

Participants will:

  1. Identify the PA Career Ready Skills continuum and accompanying implementation tools.
  2. Analyze existing school data to determine need and implementation of the PA Career Ready Skills into the school environment.
  3. Create an action plan that ensures transition of pre-K students into the elementary level of education with a focus on integration of the PA CRS into the school environment.
  4. Create one introductory professional development activity for their school staff.
