Early Warning and Student Support Systems are a way to meet student need more efficiently and effectively leaving adult energy and time to engage in school improvement and innovation.

Objectives:

Participants will be able to:

  1. Identify key student success indicators to track(ABC’s)
  2. Create an initial sample resource map with Grade Level, Small Group and Intensive supports/interventions
  3. List elements of an effective Early Warning Indicator Meeting

Target Audience

Building Principal, General Education Teacher, Special Education Teacher, School Psychologist, Speech/Language Therapist, Reading Specialist, ESL Teacher, School Counselor, Academic/Instructional and PBIS Coach, Family/Parent Representative, IU Consultant Support (Academic and Behavioral Expertise), MTSS Coordinator Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate individuals who have special needs as addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act and who need assistance at this event.
