This series emphasizes PREVENTION with a focus on enhancing early literacy outcomes toward proficiency status by 3rd grade for ALL students, including students with disabilities. Many students who are not proficient as measured by their PSSA status in 3rd grade would have benefited from increased prevention at the K-2 levels, which this series will address.
