Participants will build upon and/or acquire additional expertise in the use of RTI as an assessment process within a multi-tiered system. This session will focus on data-based decision-making within the context of instructional intensification and matching, fidelity of implementation of evidence-based practices and team-based problem-solving within the advanced tiers.

Participants will be able to:

  • Use data to intensify instruction within Tiers 1, 2 and 3
  • Interpret progress-monitoring data
  • Apply Student Growth Percentiles in developing instructional goals
  • Interpret RTI based upon multiple criteria
  • Customize instruction based upon student progress-monitoring data
  • Identify a checklist to be used as a fidelity measure for evidence-based intervention

Cross-Disciplinary MTSS Core Teams, Tiered Providers, Reading Specialists, School Psychologists, Special Education Teachers, General and Special Education Administrators
