This workshop will explore strategies to support EI staff to successfully expand or enhance their roles beyond providing direct service to children toward a more consultative role. This approach includes collaboration and teaming with the EC program in order to support children who receive Early Intervention in an EC setting.
Objectives
Participants will:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the basic models for developing consultation services in preschool EI services.
- Identify components and uses of the Inclusive Classroom Profile observation tool.
- Demonstrate how to use an electronic consultation log to document delivery of service and record changes in practice.

This training is for invited Early Intervention and Early Childhood administrators and staff only.
