The 2023 HELIX Conference arrives at the Lancaster County Convention Center in November with a full schedule of high-quality professional development as well as a virtual option for those unable to join us in. Our live conference will bring together educators, family and other school professionals to discuss prevailing research, its implementation and the opportunity to collaborate with national experts and fellow colleagues. The virtual conference companion offers the chance to join many of the same sessions from the enjoyment of home.
Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Discuss how high expectations can be operationalized for students with low incidence disabilities.
- Identify strategies that can support the collaboration between general education and special education teachers.
- Discuss tools, strategies, and resources that can aid the creation of equitable learning environments.
Target Audience
Teachers, administrators, speech language pathologists, related service providers, consultants, training and consulting staff, paraprofessionals, family members
