Sustaining and expanding School-Wide PBIS is made possible, in part, through a process of continuous quality improvement. This process, which includes participation from multiple stakeholders, focuses on the identification of key outcomes to monitor, the collection of data to evaluate the extent to which those outcomes are achieved, and the dissemination of results to key constituents. Potential data sources include disciplinary actions; measures of school climate; social, emotional, and behavioral screenings; use of restraints; academic achievement; and many others. A review of this process, with illustrations and case studies, will be shared.
