The Pennsylvania Department of Education, NCWIT Counselors 4 Computers and Pennsylvania School Counselors Association will host workshops centered around “Advising for 21st Century Careers and Tech Tools”, and “Technology Leadership Institute”. The workshops have three majors goals. First, to expand school counselors' understanding of computing related careers to better equip our students with the knowledge and skills to integrate their passions in the rapidly changing labor market. Second, to expand school counselors' personal technology toolbox to find ways to make our practices more efficient and sustainable. Lastly, to prepare counselors for integration into the K-12 School Guidance Plan following the ASCA national model and grant writing.
