Sessions will focus on special education law, assistive technology, autism, paraprofessionals, literacy, MTSS, learning engagement and environment, equity, and Attract-Prepare-Retain.

Participants will be able to:

Cite examples of how Pennsylvania entities are attracting and retaining special education personnel.
Describe how these career pathways differ from those historically taken.
Identify how these pathways will address the needs of today’s potential special education personnel workforce.

Target Audience

General education and special education administrators and teachers, paraprofessionals, school psychologists, professional development staff, and families of students with disabilities are encouraged to attend.
