The virtual companion to the 2022 HELIX Conference will bring online attendees the opportunity to access the speakers presenting at State College, but without the travel! State and national presenters will bring evidence-based practices to the available virtual sessions and share strategies for supporting high expectations for students with visual impairments, who are Deaf-Blind, with hearing loss, with intellectual disabilities, who have an acquired brain injury, and/or with complex communication needs.
Participants will:
- Illustrate how evidence-based practices can be applied in the classroom.
- Analyze how strategies can be used to support high expectations for students.
- Create a collection of resources that can be integrated into their classroom practices.

Teachers, administrators, speech language pathologists, related service providers, consultants, training and consulting staff, paraprofessionals, family members
