Join us in person at the 2022 HELIX Conference for networking, research to practice, and high expectations for students with low incidence disabilities. State and national speakers will bring their perspective, resources, and strategies to sessions for students with visual impairments, who are Deaf-Blind, with hearing loss, with intellectual disabilities, who have an acquired brain injury, and/or with complex communication needs. The in-person conference will also bring opportunities for networking with other educators and exhibitors, as well as poster sessions where classroom strategies will be shared and discussed.
Participants will:
- Select strategies presented and weigh their application in the classroom.
- Assess the applicability of the evidence-based practices to their classrooms
- Build a collection of resources to support high expectations through sessions and networking.
