Two breakout sessions with a wide range of topics and presentations around practical tools and the implementation of best practices. The culmination of the symposium closes with Dr. Anita Archer, highlighting the integration of ideas from across the series
Objectives:
At the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- List evidence-based literacy practices that can be applied to core classroom instruction and intervention for elementary and secondary students
- Identify specific pedagogical practices that support skilled reading and writing
- Explain the benefits of integrating reading and writing
- Explain how to establish a classroom setup that benefits all learners
