32. Integrating Mental Health in a MTSS for Social-Emotional-Behavioral Health and Wellness

Now more than ever, families, educators, and community partners need to prioritize the social-emotional-behavioral health of every student within our schools. This session will describe how to align and integrate related initiatives to create a single system of mental health and wellness within a Multi-Tiered System of Support. Using the evidence-based framework of PBIS, participants will learn about strategies, tools, and resources available to help leadership teams in their efforts. Examples will be shared.
Credits available for this session include: Act 48 clock hours, NASP CPD, PSYCH
Target Audience
PAPBS network facilitators, School and program-wide PBIS coaches, District and school level leadership teams, Regular and Special Educators, including EL and early childhood educators, Behavioral specialists (school counselors, school psychologists), Behavioral and mental health providers, District and state policy makers, Family members and caregivers, SBBH Community of Practice members
