Standard protocol interventions, although useful and effective, will not meet the needs of all students. Therefore, interventions will need to be intensified and adapted. This session will describe five ways to intensify interventions systematically - including ways to merge behavioral strategies, motivation, and self-regulation with high leverage instructional practices. Participants will leave with actionable steps for adjusting mathematics interventions that ensure the use of evidence-based practices.
