Equity is MTSS Conference
2021 PaPBS Implementers Forum
Session Dates
Wednesday November 10, 2021 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM - Webinar
Closed
This event will showcase the implementation and sustaining efforts of PBIS in schools and programs from across the commonwealth. Additionally, schools and programs who have completed participation requirements during the 2020-2021 school year will be acknowledged for their success. Equity in education suggests ensuring ALL students are provided with the supports they need to be successful, rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach. Throughout the PaPBS Implementers’ Forum, sessions will focus on coaching, advanced tiers, mental health supports, and initial implementation at Tier 1.
Objectives
Participants will:
- Identify methods to improve and sustain healthy and meaningful relationships with students, families, and communities in the context of the PBIS framework.
- Describe effective practices in implementation and sustaining of PBIS in their setting.
- Define Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in a multi-tiered system.
