This statewide conference will focus on the implementation of Pennsylvania's statewide initiative, Early Intervention Service Delivery: Coaching Across Settings. Participants will gain an understanding on expectations for how Early Intervention services are delivered to infants, toddlers and preschool children and their families, caregivers and early childhood education (ECE) professionals through a coaching model. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn from national research on effective evidence-based practices to support their program and staff in applying coaching supports with fidelity.
Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Identify and recognize how implementation science is needed for supporting the use of evidence-based coaching practices
- Identify an active implementation strategy and tools to support implementation of coaching practices
- Define and explore high-quality resources that will help support the successful implementation of the vision and expectations around EI service delivery
- List three lessons learned from national experts, peers and family leaders on their experiences with using a coaching model.
Target Audience
Early Intervention Infant Toddler and Preschool Leaders, Early
Intervention Infant Toddler Service Coordinators and Service Coordinator
Supervisors, Family Leaders and Invited Guests.
