Join us for our third annual conference designed to provide practical ideas, strategies, and resources for making connections and engaging students with complex communication needs. National and local presenters will discuss a variety of topics including how to use technology to inspire all learners, embed technology into classroom routines, teach and support individuals along their journey toward communicative competence, and encourage social connection.

Objectives

Participants will be able to:

  • List at least two ideas for increasing communication and active engagement in each environment (i.e., home, school, community).
  • Identify three communication partner strategies for increasing independence and making connections across activities and settings.
  • Describe three ways to integrate AAC into existing routines increasing language and social interaction skills.
