This is event is focused on supporting early intervention providers working directly with families, most often in their home. The training will offer sessions to support those who are newer to the home-based coaching model as well as those with more experience. Information will be provided on supporting protective factors within families, strategies and supports for interventionists supporting families with addiction/addiction recovery needs as well as more targeted topics, at different levels of experience, and varying disciplines.

Objectives

 Participants will:

  • Identify the five protective factors linked to supporting healthy families
  • Increase knowledge and skills in providing home based coaching
  • Plan for next steps in coaching, regardless of where you are now
  • Identify best practices for working with families who are in recovery
