Deaf-Blind Child Count

It is important for Pennsylvania to have an accurate Deaf-Blind Child Count as this information is tied to funding which supports technical assistance, training and research for this population of students, not only in the commonwealth, but nationally. It is important for each early intervention program and local educational agency (LEA) to participate in the Deaf-Blind Child Count. This annual “count” is conducted during the month of February, with all information verified by the last day of the month.
