A Collaborative Summit Presented by the LEEI and School Psychology Initiatives

This summer summit is being offered to support educators in the creation of welcoming environments designed to promote learner and educator regulation in an effort to prevent behavior errors before they occur. Evidence-based strategies will also be presented to support learners who are engaged in escalated behavior with the goal of reducing the use of restraints and exclusionary practices. National and local presenters will offers sessions on a variety of topics including de-escalation, data analysis, and alternatives to suspension and expulsion.
