Given the number of middle and high school students who are experiencing significant reading difficulties, secondary schools are adopting tiered systems to enhance core instruction and mobilize effective supplemental supports and services to help students close long-standing achievement gaps. This session is designed to help practitioners bridge the adolescent literacy research with practice through the design and delivery of explicit, integrated, and comprehensive reading intervention.
