From SaS to FAB: Introducing Families to the Framework for Access and Belonging (FAB)
January 26, 2023, 3:00 PM – 4:00 pm
Spend an hour learning about The Framework for Access and Belonging (FAB), a process used to address a student’s access to instruction and/or social interactions. It is a “renovation” of the Supplementary Aids and Services Consideration Toolkit (SaS Toolkit) with an emphasis on collaboration, improved technology, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and follow up planning and evaluation.
During this session, families will learn about each phase of the FAB process and the important collaborative role families play in completing the survey, brainstorming, and planning. Information about how families can access the FAB tools will also be highlighted.
Audience: Family members and individuals who support family members of children with disabilities.
If you cannot attend the live session, it will be recorded and later made available on the PaTTAN website.
