This session is designed to walk elementary and secondary cross-disciplinary MTSS teams through analysis of universal screening/benchmark and PVAAS data in order to analyze the health of their tiered system. This session will also include how to use student growth percentiles to inform evidence-based practices across the tiers.
Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Accurately interpret and analyze the health of each tier using select reports within commonly used data systems
- Identify strengths and needs within core instruction and supplemental intervention
- Describe characteristics of evidence-based practices
Target Audience
RTI SLD Cohort Series Teams, ELA and Math General and Special Education Teachers (elementary and secondary), ELA and Math General and Special Education Administrators (elementary and secondary), Reading Specialists, ESL Teachers, Advanced Tier Providers/Intervention Specialists, MTSS Coordinators, School Psychologists
