Special opportunity for 7-12 CS educators:
The CSinPA team at PaTTAN is conducting a stakeholder review and feedback session regarding a new study tool to help educators prepare for the CS PRAXIS exam.
Participants will get a sneak peek at the new tool. They will assess its value as a tool to help teachers prepare to take the CS PRAXIS exam by exploring the standards alignment, evaluating functionality, and determining appropriate use cases.
Objectives
- Identify the Certification Language (PaCSTCL) tool.
- Describe and assess the potential value of the PaCSTCL tool for teachers preparing to take the Computer Science PRAXIS exam. Identify strengths/benefits of the Pennsylvania Computer Science Teaching.
- Identify and discuss suggestions for improving/adapting the tool.
- Articulate individual and group feedback for the developers.
Target Audience
7-12 CS teachers who are currently preparing for, or have recently taken, the 7-12 CS Praxis exam
