During MTSS Boot Camp, cross-disciplinary teams will acquire the fundamental knowledge and evidence-based resources necessary to adopt, implement and sustain a multi-tiered system of support in order to realize the goals associated with continuous school improvement processes and practices.
Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Describe the conceptual underpinnings/tenets of MTSS
- Determine the current level of fidelity of MTSS implementation in your school/district
- Explain the impact of the roles that leadership, competency and organization play within the continuous school improvement process
- Identify critical areas of focus that will result in improved outcomes and sustainable practices
Target Audience
Administrators, Instructional Coaches, Data Coaches, Reading Specialists, General and Special Education Teachers, ESL providers, School Counselors, School Psychologists, core school improvement teams.
Individuals attending this course must arrive on time and stay the duration of the course in order to receive Act 48 Professional Education hours. Requests for exceptions are to be brought to the attention of the individual´s Superintendent or IU Director prior to the course.
