Requesting is a common starting point for many emergent communicators. While requesting is a motivating place to begin, we often find ourselves feeling stuck there. In this session, we will explore ideas for incorporating core vocabulary into daily classroom routines, and provide examples of implementation
 
 
Speaker Bios:
Bethany Wilson, M.S., CCC/SLP - Bethany Wilson is a licensed speech-language pathologist and is an AT consultant for the IU6 Training and Consultation team.  She is also an instructor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Clarion University of PA where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in AAC.
Deena Croyle, M.S., CCC/SLP - Deena is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, currently serving as an Assistive Technology Consultant at Riverview Intermediate Unit 6. Deena has experience working with students ages 3-21 who have complex communication needs due to a diagnosis of autism, multiple disabilities, developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, and/or emotional disturbance.
