What Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Means to You

This item is designed to be downloaded by professional development personnel for use in training of paraprofessional staff. Materials may be used as is or customized. Two documents are available related to this session: a Power Point Presentation and the associated handout packet. The Power Point contains trainer notes. The handout packet in PDF format contains participant activities and any additional resources related to this session. Universal Design for Learning is a set of principles for curriculum development that give all individuals equal opportunities to learn. This webinar will describe how UDL can assist the students that you work with to participate to the maximum extent possible using the major principles of UDL: multiple means of representation, multiple means of action and expression, and multiple means of engagement.
