Enhancing Family Engagement Online Course Modules: An Overview

Session Dates

Wednesday December 13, 2017 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Closed

The Enhancing Family Engagement (EFE) Online Course Modules consist of six, independent modules of study which are framed by the National Standards for Family-School Partnerships developed by the National Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Each topical module includes an introduction, pre and post assessment, module overview, core PowerPoint and resources for professional development. School staff can examine current practices and school procedures as they relate to the overarching concepts of each module. An additional module, the Facilitator’s Overview, explains how to utilize the modules and accompanying resources within a Local Education Agency (LEA). The training modules contain a wealth of materials and resources designed to provide LEAs with “shelf-ready” training tools to support the development or enhancement of Family Engagement practices through a self-directed course of study.

The purpose of this webinar is to provide participants with information about the EFE Online Course Modules and how these modules can be implemented for professional development purposes.
