This training will cover an in-depth examination of vision settings available across iOS devices. These settings will help all students of iOS devices make their function more efficient. This will cover text size, bold text, button shape, contrast, reduced motion and labels. Participants are encouraged to use their own device to follow along with these practical examples.

Objectives

Participants will:

  • Identify two different ways to reduce screen glare.
  • List two ways to make icons larger on an iOS device.
  • Describe how to reduce or increase a screen´s brightness.

Target Audience

Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments, Orientation & Mobility Specialist, AT TaC

Individuals attending this course must arrive on time and stay the duration of the course in order to receive Act 48 Professional Education hours. Requests for exceptions are to be brought to the attention of the individual´s Superintendent or IU Director prior to the course.
