This event is by invitation only. You must have a registration key in order to register.
In this workshop MTSS elementary and middle school team members will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to design and deliver tier 2 supports and services in writing for students in grades K-12. Alterable variables for differentiating instruction, intensifying instruction, and addressing student writing needs will be presented. Instructional accommodations for English Learners (ELs) will specifically be addressed within this context. Tier 2 intervention will also be examined by linking student assessment data with appropriate instructional interventions. As writing samples are examined, for example, educators will ask: “If students have difficulty with ___________, what interventions can be used to improve student performance?” The workshop will conclude with a comprehensive case study application that examines instructional and intervention alignment across tiered providers.
