In this session, Pennsylvania Eastern Region IU TaC Consultants will collaborate with PaTTAN Consultants on the following topics: STEM, Career Readiness Indicator, Post-Project MAX Sustainability, Progress Monitoring, Coaching, Networking, and the Positive Educator Experience. 

This event will also include an introduction to newly-hired IU TaC Consultants to the Pennsylvania state system of support, via PaTTAN, to build the capacity of IUs and LEAs.

 

Individuals attending this course must arrive on time and stay the duration of the course in order to receive Act 48 Professional Education hours.  Requests for exceptions are to be brought to the attention of the individual's Superintendent or IU Director prior to the course.

 



Objectives

1. List two strategies for LEAs to increase student engagement in STEM activities.
2. Describe one method for sustaining Project MAX principals and practices to ensure the presumption of competence of all students, including those with complex instructional needs.
3. Identify the four areas of knowledge in the PA Career Readiness Indicator.
4. Explain the importance of progress monitoring in order to provide FAPE for individual students with disabilities.
