Feedback is any comment, verbal or written, that provides descriptive information on the proficiency or quality of a product or performance. This session is designed to assist educators with provision of high-quality feedback to help students invest in their own learning.

Objectives

  1. Distinguish between the four types of feedback
  2. Learn and apply principles of effective feedback
  3. Practice providing efficient and effective feedback
  4. Learn how to intensify feedback for students who are struggling academically

Target Audience

General and Special Educators K-12

Individuals attending this course must arrive on time and stay the duration of the course in order to receive Act 48 Professional Education hours. Requests for exceptions are to be brought to the attention of the individual´s Superintendent or IU Director prior to the course.
