This session is part of a series for special education leaders who have been selected to participate in a year-long cohort. Participants will explore current issues impacting special education such as: teacher evaluation, re-entry for students with traumatic brain injury, and universal design for learning.

 

Objectives

 

Participants will:
  1. Discuss current legislative changes
  2. Examine ways to prepare staff for the re-entry of students with traumatic brain injury back to the classroom
  3. Explore ways to ensure compliance and provide effective programs

 

Target Audience

 

Current Fellows in the Pennsylvania Fellowship Program (PFP

 

Individuals attending this course must arrive on time and stay the duration of the course in order to receive Act 48 Professional Education hours. Requests for exceptions are to be brought to the attention of the individual´s Superintendent or IU Director prior to the course.
