CSforAllPA presents an hour-long conversation on widespread bias in algorithms used in artificial intelligence (AI), as explored in the documentary, Coded Bias, and supplementary resources. In small groups, participants will discuss the consequences of biased AI, what can be done about it, and how to engage students and others in dialogue about the issue.

Objectives

At the end of this training participants will be able to:

  • Identify statewide goals for CS education in Pennsylvania
  • Discuss local CS education initiatives and priorities
  • Develop individual goals for engaging in and supporting CS education

Target Audience

District Administrators, Principals, School Counselors, School Librarians, K-12 General Ed, Special Education and English Language Learner teachers, anyone interested in K-12 Computer Science in Pennsylvania
