This training will provide in-depth knowledge and practice related to supporting students with disabilities in virtual environments.

Objectives

Participants will:

  1. Explore and describe evidence based, trauma-informed instructional and intervention practices for students for students with disabilities in virtual environments;
  2. Define evidenced based practices for progress monitoring IEP goals in virtual environments;
  3. Describe and implement family and student centered practices in support of transitioning students between face-to-face and virtual school environments;
  4. Identify best-practices for conducting virtual IEP meetings

Target Audience

General and Special Education Teachers, School Psychologist, Physical Therapist, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Behavior Specialist, Special Education Administrators, Principals, other administrators.
